ChampionX is a global leader in chemistry programs and services, drilling technology and automation technologies for oil and gas companies worldwide. The client’s U.S.-based talent acquisition team was experiencing challenges recruiting outside of the western hemisphere. With an aggressive global growth strategy, ChampionX approached PeopleScout for multi-country RPO to handle hiring across the eastern hemisphere.
Solution
Global Recruitment of Specialist Roles
Through our global delivery centers in Krakow, Gurgaon and Singapore, we recruited over 70 senior-level specialist roles across seven countries. These were hard-to-find professionals including engineers, scientists, chemists, sales reps, marketeers, logistics analysts and procurement.
Our multilingual recruitment team balanced hiring managers and candidates across multiple time zones in Australia, Norway, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and the United Kingdom. We achieved fast turnarounds on roles that ChampionX had previously struggled to fill including a process engineering role in Scotland and a procurement role in Dubai, which were both filled in just four weeks.
Expanding into India with Tech & Digital Hiring
After unsuccessful engagements with local staffing agencies, ChampionX turned to PeopleScout again as they prepared to stand up a new Digital and Tech Center in Chennai, India. We started by supported the client’s hiring strategy with market insights and advertising consulting to support their operational development as an unknown employer in Chennai. We provided market insights, including salary benchmarks, to help the ChampionX craft competitive compensation packages to attach top talent.
The PeopleScout delivery center in Gurgaon, India, filled the first five roles, including executive leaders in HR, finance and legal to help the client get established in the country.

- 40 offers accepted
Going forward PeopleScout continues to partner with ChampionX to support their recruitment goals in the eastern hemisphere. We are playing a pivotal role as they grow their Digital and Tech Center to over 120 positions, strengthening their capabilities in AI, analytics and application development.
